- The Mystery of Three Quarters by Sophie Hannah
- Bad Man by Dathan Auerbach
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
How was the Sophie Hannah book?
I really enjoyed it tbh. Would definitely think of going back and revisiting the previous ones that Hannah has written.
Lynn 😀
Finishing two books is pretty dang good, hope you enjoyed them. 🙂
This week I’m finishing up two books left from last week, The Book of Hidden Things and Year One. Hope you have a good week!
Hope you’ve had a good week too
Lynn 😀
Thanks!
I’m dying to find out what you thought of Bad Man!
Well, it was okay. Not really what I was expecting (which is probably my own fautl) and in some ways I felt a little bit disappointed. Good but not excellent after a good start.
Lynn 😀
I’ve not read any of Tamora Pierce’s books. I have this on my shelves though. I have just started The Soldier by Neal Asher, it’s a much heavier sci-fi than i’m used to.
I’ve been putting off on reading Tempests and Slaughter because Tamora Pierce was one of my favourite authors when I was younger, and I guess I’m kind of worried it might not live up to my expectations? Oh, and that cover The Silence of the Girls is gorgeous! I’m currently reading through Bloody Rose and Summer Bird Blue. 🙂
I have to pick up Eames – I’ve not read the first yet which I feel bad about given how much everybody loved it.
Lynn 😀
Good job reading two books last week! I didn’t read any 😦 but I am hoping to get some this week!
I hope you’ve read something good this past week – as you can see I’m hopelessly behind and only just catching up with comments. Where’s a time turner when you need one.
Lynn 😀
I just finished reading Neverwake World last night. It was pretty good and there was a twist at the end I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait to see what you think about Envy of Angels.
I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed that book yet – it’s so unique and in fact I need to read No.2 very soon.
Lynn 😀
I just purchased City of Lies! Looking forward to your thoughts 🙂
Hope you love it.
Lynn 😀
Great stuff! Looking forward to reading your review on Tempests and Slaughter, that’s coming up in the near future for me too 🙂
Eventually I will catch up with my reviews! Lynn 😀
Last week, I finished reading the interesting Seven Sovereign Queens by Geoffrey Trease and whipped through a re-read of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I have finished even more this week! I hope you have been enjoying reading this week too. 🙂
I have been enjoying reading tbh although I seem to be getting through things at a much slower pace for some reason and picking up my books less at the moment than is usual.
Lynn 😀
