24 June 2018
Spinning Silver! *turns an unbecoming shade of green* I requested it and am PENDING – and we all know what THAT means! I’m really looking forward to hearing what you make of it. In the meantime, have a great week, Lynn:)
Ahh, you never know. Fingers crossed for you.
Lynn 😀
Thank you – I’m probably going to go out and buy it, if PENDING goes on doing just that…
Yes, I’ve often found that to be the case – although occasionally I’ve sat waiting and eventually been approved – usually far too close to the deadline though.
Lynn 😀
I’ve been finding – since Netgalley has separated out – that I get significantly less approvals for the books I really want to read, which I find a bit frustrating as my feedback ratio is currently running at 92%
Yeah, I’m not really loving the split if I’m honest, but what can you do.
Lynn 😀
On the bright side – at least I’m not requesting so many books!
Ravencry!👍👍👍
Just started it – excited.
Lynn 😀
I have finished it, so damn good, words fail me for how great it is.
Cool 😀
I am so looking forward to starting Spinning Silver! I just have to finish a few more books that are in line ahead of it first…dammit, WHY CAN’T I READ FASTER!
Haha – I think you must be one of the fastest readers I’ve ever known! If you can’t read fast enough there’s simply no hope for the rest of us.
Lynn 😀
Lynn, the sun is most definitely shining – In fact, it has been scorcio here! 😀 Like you I have also been very busy at work, socialising, watching the plethora of sport, applying for jobs and booking my summer holiday. However I did manage to finish reading the absolutely gripping The House on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier and I have continued enjoying the swashbuckling Sandokan, The Pirates of Malaysia by Emilio Salgari. Happy summer reading! 🙂
You sound like you’re having a wonderful summer. Good luck with your job haunting and you have me intrigued by the DuMaurier – perhaps a book that I must read!
Lynn 😀
Thank you 🙂
The summertime is for socializing more than it is for reading and review, I think! Or at least that’s what I tell myself when I inevitably fall behind. 😉 I’m very excited to see what you thought of Witchmark!
I loved it. I need to sort my review out but genuinely, I just really enjoyed it. Have you read it?
