I’ve had a lovely week. Read two books and caught up with a few reviews plus started The Burning Chambers by Kate Mosse. The weather has been lovely and I’m also trying to insert a little more exercise into my day which has been interesting (just an hour’s walking). So, here’s what I’ve read:
- Legendary by Stephanie Garber
- The Last Sun (The Tarot Sequence #1) by K.D. Edwards
Next Week’s Reads:

- Envy of Angels by Matt Wallace
- School for Psychics by K C Archer
- Noir by Christopher Moore

- The Wisdom of Sally Red Shoes by Ruth Hogan
- The Testament of Loki by Joanne M Harris
- Where Loyalties Lie by Rob J Hayes
- Legendary by Stephanie Garber
- The Last Sun (The Tarot Sequence #1) by K.D. Edwards
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
Wintertide had a wonderful cover! At the moment I’m re-reading, and loving, Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett ❤
I really should read more Pratchett. I’ve read the Tiffany books but really feel like I should start the discworld from the beginning – it’s a bit daunting though.
Lynn 😀
The complete series is quite… big! But you can try with the sub-series, choose the one more appealing to you and start from there 🙂
Good advice – thanks 😀
How did you like The Last Sun? I’m hoping to finish it today and I’m loving it😁
So damn good.
Wow, you have a lot of reviews in the works! This week I’ll be reading Demon Haunted by Ashe Armstrong because I have that left from last week. It’s a weird western featuring an orc protagonist.
Yes, feeling very guilty but May has definitely thrown a spanner in my blogging works.
Lynn 😀
It happens sometimes, no need to feel guilty!
I know – I just can’t help it.
Lynn 😀
I’m looking forward to hearing about The Last Sun – I’ve just treated myself to Caraval so I’m hoping you are loving it:). I met Lucy Hounsom on Friday at the book launch at Waterstones! I must get hold of Starborn…
The Last Sun was excellent – one of my favourite books so far this year.
Lynn 😀
That is, indeed, high praise (going on the wishlist in readiness for an upcoming birthday…)
Well I was hoping to start my 10 Books of Summer reading this week with The House on the Strand, but that’s not quite worked out. Instead I have continued reading Vanishing Grace by Philip Yancey and I have thrown myself into a new swashbuckling adventure in Sandokan, The Pirates of Malaysia by Emilio Salgari 😀
Your pirate adventure sounds good – a bit of swashbuckling is always fun.
Lynn 😀
You and Tammy both have me intrigued about The Last Sun!
Oh yes, I loved it. Review on Monday. Pick it up soon – I’d love to see what you make of it too.
Lynn 😀
