Well, this week has been crazy.  I’ve done no blogging at all and I’m behind with reviews.  We’ve had friends staying and books and everything else have taken a back seat.  It was good fun.  I have read two books though.

Books read:

  1. One Way by S J Morden
  2. The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst – wow, I love this and can’t wait to read No.2.

Next Week’s Reads:

  1. School for Psychics by K C Archer
  2. The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross

Upcoming reviews:

  1. Starborn by Lucy Hounsom
  2. Envy of Angels by Matt Wallace
  3. The Bitter Twins by Jen Williams
  4. Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe
  5. Feeder by Patrick Weekes
  6. The Sisters Mederos by Patrice Sarath
  7. Tiger Lily by K Lincoln Bird
  8. The Atrocities by Jeremy C Shipp
  9. One Way by S J Morden
  10. The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst

I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.

Lynn, this week I finished reading Hazard of Shadows by Mike Phillips, and I have started reading God’s Smuggler by Brother Andrew and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte. Happy reading! 🙂

I know that I read all the Bronte books years ago but The Tenant of Wildfell Hall I have no recollection of whatsoever – I feel I should reread it and in fact I think I bought a copy on kindle for that reason. Hope you enjoy.

It’s always great to spend time with friends! 🙂

I’ve just completed School for Psychics so I’ll be interested to see what you make of it – and I’m fascinated to hear about One Way – it sounds gripping. Though your week sounds crazy – it does seem that it was also great fun and sometimes we need a break in our routines:).
I hope you thoroughly enjoyed it and have another great week ahead of you!

Thanks Sarah. I did enjoy the week but I’m so far behind now – and I just about seemed to be catching up with reviews but now I’m all over the place again. ahh well.
      Lynn 😀

I know the feeling – and the way the year is going, I’m just going to go with the flow and do the best I can without stressing too much… Otherwise it stops being fun!

I finished One Way this week as well. Great fun on Mars! And I’m curious to see what you’ll make of The School for Psychics. I’d love to fit that one in April if I can.

I enjoyed One Way although it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. It had a lot of technical talk and tbh I thought it was predictable but it was a good read and strongly written. School for psychics I keep letting slip – I’ll get to it soon. I’m reading the Beast book at the moment so probably after that one.

Two books is still awesome and it sounds like you had fun with your friends. I finished up a chick lit book over the weekend because I was sicker than a dog and couldn’t focus on much more. I read The Atrocities before that and am about 20 pages into Murder on Black Swan Lane. I’ve been wanting to try that Durst series and am pretty sure I have the first one on my Kindle.

One Way definitely looks interesting! Love that cover. Makes me want to buy it and dive in! 🙂 And I’m seeing school for Psychics everywhere now, and frankly that premise kinda has me hooked too.

I’m about a third into School for Psychics. Jury is still out.
      Lynn 😀
