Nice! I’m curious to hear how you liked The Belles. I’ve read some really positive reviews:-)
I was really quite surprised by it – I think I requested it on the spur of the moment and then almost regretted it but it made for good reading. I had a few niggles but that’s inevitable for me in a YA dystopian style read. Overall though positive.
Lynn 😀
Nice covers. I’m reading the Wolves of Winter now and enjoying it!
This was good – I do like post apocalyptic books though and I liked the smaller focus on the family.
The Girl in the Tower easily stands out as the best, in my opinion.
It is a beautiful cover.
Lynn 😀
Gorgeous when they’re all put together in a collage like that. A lot of floral and “sparkly”/snowy covers! 😀
I always find it amazing how quite often in any given month the covers almost seem to match.
Lynn 😀
I have a hold on The Wolves of Winter at my library and I’m up first but it’s been in processing FOREVER!
Yeah, that happens sometimes. I hope you enjoy it. I thought it was an interesting read and I liked the family focus.
Lynn 😀
The covers for The Girl in the Tower, The Hazel Wood and The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock are just lovely. 🙂
I think you would enjoy all three – all different but really good. And the covers are lovely.
Lynn 😀
That’s a lot of books! 🙂 Curious to hear about Wolves of Winter and Belles
Yeah, I had a slow start in January so I’m surprised I managed to get through the books I needed to.

[…] This is my first month in review for 2018 – also, some of these lists look a bit longer than usual but that’s because I didn’t post a month in review for December 2017 so this doubles up. I’ve had a good month with plenty of excellent books – guess I’ve been quite lucky. We’ve had a few mishaps (chunks of ceiling falling down and the like) but it all just adds to the rich texture of life doesn’t it! Anyway, my month in covers is here if you’d like to check out their loveliness. My Month in Covers […]
