Weekly Wrap Up : 17/9/17
This has been a very eventful week and I’ve got lots going on which again has left my blogging and reading on a bit of a back burner. But, I managed to finish Jay Kristoff’s Godsgrave – and I loved it. Wow, bring on No.3 please – no pressure or anything. Anyway.
What I’ve read:
- Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff (I’m still loving both these covers but the second one just wins the day for me – so many little relevant details. Although I do love the font on the first one.
What I’m hoping to finish next week:
- Sea of Rust by C Robert Cargill
- The Last Dog on Earth Adrian J. Walker
And on a note of optimism – I’ll add another book, because you never know!
The Tiger’s Daughter K Arsenault Rivera

Hope you all had a good week. Let me know what you’re reading.

I’d love to get to Sea of Rust next week too – and if not, for sure the week after. I really want to read this one!
Hope you get a chance soon – although with the amount of books you get sent every week I simply don’t know how you do it!
Lynn 😀
Ooo… I LOVED both Sea of Rust and The Last Dog on Earth and I’m really looking forward to seeing what you make of them:). I’ve also just finished reading The Tiger’s Daughter, too… Have a great week, Lynn.
Did you enjoy The Tiger’s Daughter?
Lynn 😀
Yes, I did in that I loved the writing style and storytelling. I did have a couple of concerns about the way she used a culture not her own, but I’m assuming that she ran by the language and cultural details past a sensitivity reader, given this is traditionally published.
Ahh, okay, well, I look forward to picking this one up soon.
Lynn 😀
I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about Godsgrave! The Tiger’s Daughter is on my TBR too, hopefully it ends up being as good as the synopsis makes it sound. 🙂
I hope so too, fingers crossed 😀
The wolf on the alternate cover for Godsgrave is quite intriguing… 🙂
Yeah, I really like that cover.
Lynn 😀
I am now reading young adult thriller Resthaven by Erik Therme. Happy reading this week 🙂
You too Jessica (although we’re well into the week already – hope you’re loved Resthaven).
