Well, the weather has been glorious although it does now seem to have broken. I’ve had a fun weekend, maybe a little wine fuelled, but lots of friends and maybe a couple of late nights – I hope you’ve all had a good weekend too.
In terms of reading this week:
- The Court of Broken Knives (Empires of Dust #1) finished and review to follow
- The Bones of the Earth – not yet finished – next week though
- Borderline (The Arcadia Project) by Mishell Baker – this book took me by storm and just woo’ed me!
My cover highlight this week is The Arcadia Project books – I will be reading No2 pretty damn quick sharp:
I think these covers are great – I really like the first one – does it have fairy wings??
Which is your favourite?
How was your week? What you currently reading?

Yay, enjoy Phantom Pains! I liked it even more than the first one and I can’t wait for Imposter Syndrome!
I’ve already bought a copy of Phantom Pains and I’m looking forward to it.
Lynn 😀
I love The Arcadia Project covers too, and I’m glad you got to read Borderline. Phantom Pains is just as good:-)
I’ve already picked up a copy of No.2 and will be pressing on with that soon.
Lynn 😀
A fun weekend with wine and friends sounds great 😀 Over the weekend I finished reading the very fun Pyramids by Terry Pratchett and I have got well into the Italian classic Sandokan, The Tigers of Mompracem by Emilio Salgari 🙂
I should definitely read more Pratchett – I’ve only read his Tiffany books but I did really like them.
Lynn 😀
I hope you are able to try more of Pratchett’s books soon 🙂 In contrast I really need to read his Tiffany books!
You’ve read so much Pratchett I still can’t believe you’ve not read Tiffany – I think you’d like it. And, yes, I definitely need to read some of his soon.
Lynn 😀
Three cheers for Borderline! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. I’m dying to read the sequel!
I’ve just reading book 2 – two thirds in and loving it so far.
Lynn 😀
I haven’t read anything by Mishell Baker – but I love those covers and your enthusiasm has certainly sparked my interest:)
It’s great so far – I loved the first and the second is maybe even better – I’m about two thirds in already.
Lynn 😀
It sounds like my kind of series – where it gets better with each book…:)
Indeed – mine too 😀
I like those three covers! They are beautiful. Hope you have a great week.
Thanks – hope you’ve had a good week so far.
Lynn 😀
