Weekly Wrap Up : 26/3/17
Hope you’ve all had a good week. I’m so busy at the moment. Work is busy, social life is very active and on top of that we’re decorating – so, as a consequence there isn’t a single room in the house that doesn’t look like a storm just ripped through it! So, I confess, I’m tired. Plus what horrible news from London this week, my heart goes out to all those people affected.
Last week’s reads:
- The Heart of Stone by Ben Galley – review to follow
- Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi
I listened to a few more chapters of my Miriam Black book and also started my next SPFBO book.
So, next week I’m hoping to finish:
- Thunderbird by Chuck Wendig
- The Music Box by K A Stewart
And, finally, my cover highlight this week:

I love this series and think the covers are all great. I can’t wait to start this – hopefully this week.
How was your week? What you currently reading?
26 March 2017
Nice! I’ve been looking forward to The Collapsing Empire and have heard good things so far.
It was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

“listened to a few more chapters of my Miriam Black book…” Does this mean you have climbed on board the audiobook train? 😀
Yes, my first book ever. On reflection, not entirely sure that picking a book mid series is the best idea, because I already have Miriam’s voice in my head and this one is obviously totally different. But, it’s still quite a pleasant surprise in that my mind isn’t roaming about like I thought it would.
Lynn 😀
The events in London have been heart breaking to see and hear about. It has been good to escape by listening to my audiobook of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Yes, it was very bad. Definitely a bit of escapism in such times is not a bad thing.
Lynn 😀
A Red Rose Chain is sooo good Lynn, I hope you love it! And I definitely think the covers for the Toby Daye books are getting better.
I can feel that I am going to love it – you and Maddalena and Lisa haven’t steering me wrong yet.
Lynn 😀
More Toby Daye on the horizon! I can’t wait to read your comments on the next book: the latest installments have been nothing short of amazing 🙂
That’s excellent to hear.
