Here we are again with the Friday Face Off meme created by Books by Proxy . This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite. Future week’s themes are listed below. This week’s theme:
23rd December – The first noel… – a cover with angels
This week my choice is Angel by L A Weatherly:
my winner:

I like this one because whilst it’s trying to bring over the image of an angel there’s a lot of darkness to the cover too – maybe not as angelic as all would seem?
Which is your favourite??
If you fancy joining in with the FFO the themes for the next week is below.
30th December – Ho ho ho! To the bottle I go… – a cover with drink
I actually like all these covers, but I think cover #3 gets a slight edge. Happy holidays, Lynn!
Yeah, lovely colours.
Lynn 😀
I fancy the second one.
It’s a good one actually – I didn’t really dislike any of these.
Lynn 😀
The third cover is the one that keeps drawing my attention: it must be the color choice, I think…. 🙂
The colours are lovely and subtle aren’t they.
Lynn 😀
I like your choice – the character looks anything but angelic and I like the disconnect. It makes me wonder about the book:).
She looks downright sneaky in a way.
These are all very moody covers! I gotta go with the one where she shows her face too 😉
Very moody 😀
I like the darker cover best, too! It helps detract from the squeaky-clean potential that books about angels often seem to project.
Agreed 😀
