Waiting on Wednesday: Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day by Seanan McGuire

“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme created by Breaking the Spine.  Every Wednesday we get to highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to.  My book this week is : Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day by Seanan McGuire.  I’m loving SMcG at the moment.  I’m reading her Toby Daye series at the moment and can’t get enough of it and absolutely adored Every Heart a Doorway.

duskWhen her sister Patty died, Jenna blamed herself. When Jenna died, she blamed herself for that, too. Unfortunately Jenna died too soon. Living or dead, every soul is promised a certain amount of time, and when Jenna passed she found a heavy debt of time in her record. Unwilling to simply steal that time from the living, Jenna earns every day she leeches with volunteer work at a suicide prevention hotline.

But something has come for the ghosts of New York, something beyond reason, beyond death, beyond hope; something that can bind ghosts to mirrors and make them do its bidding. Only Jenna stands in its way.

Due out 10th Jan – not long now!

I’m so excited for this too! I may read it very soon, since I’m trying to read ahead some of my January titles.

I’m also trying to read ahead. I hardly requested any books for December so that I could catch up. I’m so looking forward to this one though.

I had an ARC of this and read it in November – I simply couldn’t wait. I loved it and it was a 5/5 read for me. It’s beautiful and haunting and definitely one of my favorite books of 2016 even though it’s not released until 2017!

Ohhhh! This one went under my radar until now! I’ll set myself a reminder for January 10th, thank you so much!!!! 🙂
And if it’s as wonderful a ghost story as Sparrow Hill Road, we’ll be in for a wonderful treat with this one…

It sounds a fabulous read. I haven’t read enough of Seanan McGuirre this year – something I’m hoping to rectify in 2017.

Every Heart a Doorway – so good. Highly recommended.

She has all these books I need to read! First the October Daye series which I’m insanely behind on and I’ve also heard great things about InCryptid. Also Every Heart A Doorway. She needs to slow down so I can catch up 😉

I was just thinking the same thing – there are quite a few books due out soon! I don’t know how she does it.

I almost requested this a couple days ago! But I didn’t think I’d enough time before break is over :/
