Well, that’s a welcome change: a post-apocalyptic story (I guess the flood was no picnic…) that still depicts humanity in a positive way. Good to know, thank you! 🙂
I like the look of this one – I haven’t read this author before so hopefully this will be a good starting point.

KSR is one of my favorite authors. Last year’s Aurora is a must read. This new one will undoubtly be a feast. KSR is so good because of his hopeful yet realistic optimism about humanity.
That’s good news – it would be nice to read a book with a little bit of hope (for this type of story that is – they’re usually a bit gloomy and frightening!)

When I saw this, my first thought was Venice, only more extreme version. But really, who know how the world will look like 100 years from now…

YES! I was so excited when I heard he was working on his next novel, and then New York 2140 got its title, synopsis, and that beautiful cover. I really enjoyed Aurora, which was my first KSR novel and I’m looking forward to more.
I haven’t read that – I’ll maybe go and check it out and add to my wishlist!
