Today is day eight of my monthly challenge to post something on a particular theme.  This month being Harry Potter.

Today I’m looking at covers for book No.1.  Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.  I think I’ve probably barely scratched the surface here as there are a lot of covers.  Take a look and see if you have a favourite.  I really like the final image shown.

I’ve always been partial to the Scholastic cover, the first one in the second row 🙂

I like your choice – and the one directly above it. What a great spread of covers! And the original Bloomsbury cover doesn’t do the book justice…

There are some lovely covers to be sure – I’ve barely got started!

I fancy the 2nd one in the third row.

I own what it probably known as the classic UK cover (2nd cover on the bottom row) however I really fancy a copy of the illustrated version too (3rd cover on the 3rd row) 🙂

Yeah, the illustrated version would be great to have a copy of.

I like the third one from the upper row: it’s very evocative…
