#artitupwithfriends : ‘Stolen Moment’

For the month of May I am going to try and take part in a daily drawing challenge organised by @pabkins and @badaliceshop.  These will only be sketches but if you check out the #artitupwithfriends hashtag you’ll see some really excellent pieces of art!  Each day the aim is to sketch or draw using the word for the day.  Today is ‘Stolen Moment’ and I’ve gone for a bookish moment!  This is a sinister and sweet themed month.  Tomorrow’s prompt is ‘Nightmare’.

Oh, you nailed it, Lynn! 😉

I love the “blurred” effect of the passersby in the background! You’re so creative 🙂

Thanks – I’m quite enjoying doing these although some of the later prompts might be tough!
      Lynn 😀

This is just perfect! I agree with Mogsy about the “phantom” crowd in the background: when we read, the rest of the world truly disappears… 🙂

That was the effect I was going for – the bubble or worm hole effect of reading.
      Lynn 😀

Love it, love it, love it 🙂 Not sure I’m looking forward to a nightmare picture though…

Haha, I found nightmare a bit of a struggle to come up with something tbh.
      Lynn 😀
