For the month of May I am going to try and take part in a daily drawing challenge organised by @pabkins and @badaliceshop. These will only be sketches but if you check out the #artitupwithfriends hashtag you’ll see some really excellent pieces of art! Each day the aim is to sketch or draw using the word for the day. Today is ‘Midnight’! This is a sinister and sweet themed month. Tomorrow’s prompt is ‘Toys’.

Glad to see a pussycat snuck in there, although my own pampered cat would be fast asleep at midnight. Toys sounds like it could be a lovely theme.
I love the image of a cat on a roof! plus a skyline at night – mine should have been darker though!
Lynn 😀
I didn’t immediately notice the cat on the left, but it adds the perfect note to the scene.
Well done! 🙂
I love the idea of the cat on a roof (hot tin or otherwise!)
Lynn 😀
I like the skyline, and the cat looks very cool too!
Cats are pretty cool really. Although I have a dog I do love cats and their independence.
Lynn 😀
You are having such fun with this! 🙂 I didn’t even think of “hot tin” just the skyline, but now I’m thinking of that Tennessee Williams biography I have somewhere on my shelves!
Ahh, I’ve never read that – is it good?
Very atmospheric!
Thank you 😀
