Waiting on Wednesday: Morning Star by Pierce Brown

“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.  Every Wednesday we get to highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to.  My book this week is Morning Star by Pierce Brown.  This is the third in series and I’ve loved the first two.  I’m so excited for this one!  Due Feb 2016.  Check out this cover – does this look ominous or hopeful???

The second one is so completely different to the first – really unexpected but still excellent.

did this series used to have a different cover. It looks familiar but I can’t tell if I have heard of it before or not. Either way it sounds good!

    Happy Reading

I do think this cover is different in style than the previous two to be honest.

So need. I want so badly to read how this book begins (so we see the aftermath of Golden Son) and also how it ends because gah, I can’t trust this trilogy not to tear out my heart and stomp on it.

I think there may be some stomping – hopefully, maybe just of a lesser organ!
      Lynn 😀

I was going to say it looks hopeful to me because it looks like the sun is peeping around the rings of a planet (I think A Long Way to A Small Angry Planet is still fresh in my mind). But I took a closer look and it looks more like a glint of light on the sharp edge of a hook..which is much creepier than I first thought.
