We looked at the good. We looked at the bad. Now let’s look at the ugly…
- That book you bought in a second hand book sale. No last page….
- Took your kindle on holiday, much lighter than all those books. Day 1: Battery low and you forgot the charger!
- Library – ‘Closed for refurbishment’ – for six months!
- Somebody has tidied up your books – they may have looked randomly placed but there was actually a system!!
- The last book you requested from the library: ‘Your reservation is no.38 in a list of 38’
- That must read book you want: ‘No longer in publication’
- You left your book on the train
- Worse still, you only had 10 pages left!
- It just get’s better, you can’t order another because it’s ‘out of stock’
- And, then somebody just blurted the end!
I thought you were talking about Paul, Dave and me when I saw this on Twitter! 😉
Hi Colin. Only just seen your comment. So which one did you think was you?? The Good of course!

That’s my worse fear when it comes to my Kindle! I’ve done it as well thankfully my friend’s phone charger fitted so disaster averted 😛
I know, i just went to pick mine up this morning and it was completely flat! So, back to the paper version after all. I keep trying to get into the modern era but I do sometimes forget to recharge.

hee-hee! I just bought a replacement copy of a book by Zenna Henderson. Snort! Missing pages 1 to 55. Oh well. It cost me a dollar.
I know – you can’t be too upset when you’re only paying pennies – unless of course you’re actually reading the book and only discover the missing pages when you’re getting to the last couple of chapters – that’s a tad annoying isn’t it!!

Oh those are good! And so true! I’ve done that with my kindle and had to order another charger – 2 weeks without books? no can do!
I’ve actually literally done the same thing with my kindle which is why that particular item went on the list. You know I was about 75% into a book as well! Curses!!
