Enjoy your book loot!
I will do! Except you know that feeling when you’ve bitten off more than you can chew and so it catches you short! I’m currently having that feeling. Either that or I just can’t figure who which book to read first. Dip, dip dip maybe!
Lynn 😀
Good times indeed! That is a really nice haul. I haven’t read any of Alex Bledsoe’s non-Eddie LaCrosse books but he is a fun writer.
I remember liking Something Wicked This Way Comes when I read it during my teen years.
I’m really looking forward to some of these I must admit. I haven’t read anything by Alex Bledsoe so that will be interesting and I’m excited about Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Lynn 😀
Oh boy am I jealous. I walked by a bookshop the other day and stood on the pavement for a minute staring in the door. I need a good cry right now.
heh! I can see that. I think we’ve all been there.
Aw sorry, but, don’t forget, I’m still using the library as well – A LOT! Plus I admire that you’re not adding to Mount TBR and actually getting through some other books already owned. Sometimes I feel like putting all my owned unread books in a big mess on the floor and put them into order whilst wearing a blindfold – that way I’d have to use what I pick first with no judgement just luck – who knows, that could be the way to find my next great read.
Lynn 😀
HOOOOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!
“Auntie”
I know. I love new books – just the postman delivering them – even though I know what I’ve ordered I get all excited like a small child.
Lynn 😀
The Farseer books are among my very favorites, along with Hobbs’ related series The Tawny Man and The Liveship Traders!
Well that’s a great recommendation. I’m looking forward to reading some Hobbs.
Lynn 😀
Yay for new books 🙂 The only one of them I’ve read is Something Wicked This Way Comes hope you enjoy it and all the other books too!
Funnily enough that’s the one I’m really looking forward to – I don’t know why really, I just have a feel for it!
Lynn 😀
I’ve been meaning to read Robin Hobb forever. I look forward to reading your reviews. I should dig out my copies from the TBR mountain.
Yes, you should – we could read it at the same time and compare thoughts! I’m looking forward to reading Hobbs because so many people seem to recommend her books.
Lynn 😀
the Farseer books ARE THE BEST! don’t be surprised if halfway through the first book you go out and buy the 3rd.
also, you are going to love Anvil of the World and Agatha H!
I started reading A Hat Full of Sky yesterday, it is farking adorable!
I’ve just finished the first Third of Hat Full of Sky so will be putting up my post soon. Looking forward to the discussions already.
Lynn 😀
I love these posts, these lists of “books that I found that interest me.”
I know, I love reading other posts like these to see what other people are getting into.
Lynn 😀
Whoa…you got quite a lot there and none of the author I know of 😉
Is that the same Warm Bodies which is the cinema now?
Yes, it’s the same Warm Bodies as currently in the cinema. I haven’t seen the film and will probably wait to read the book first.
Lynn 😀
Didn’t realized it’s from a book.
I’m hoping that the book will be better than the film to be honest, we’ll see.
Lynn 😀
Enoy all the goodies! Looks like some great reading ahead.
