Weekly Update
Busy, busy, busy. Hope you’re all doing well? I’m still playing catch up to be honest, but, I’m making progress. I have a few reviews to catch up with and I’m not fully caught up with blog hopping but slowly, slowly. I also posted my ‘Countdown to Christmas’ – the prompts are here. So, this week I’ve read Too Old For This by Samantha Downing which was so completely different from my usual reading and I really enjoyed it. A serial killer who is trying to give up. Dark humour indeed. And, I’ve picked up The Blackfire Blade by James Logan (The Last Legacy #2).
Next Week’s reads
Well, I’d like to finish reading The Blackfire Blade by James Logan and maybe start Outlaw Planet by MR Carey. I also posted my ‘Countdown to Christmas’ – the prompts are here.
Reviews Posted:
The Austen Christmas Murders by Jessica Bull.

Too Old For This sounds intriguing! And I am curious to know your thoughts on The Blackfire Blade! I really enjoyed that book, but it made me sooooooo mad!
It’s early days, only about 10% in and my reading is slow – because so many other things are going on, but I’m hoping to have some more free time in the next few days so we’ll see.

Too Old For This sounds really good!
It was not my usual type of read but I thought it was good.

I have a NetGalley copy of Too Old For This that I couldn’t get to, maybe I’ll try to pick it up this month😁
I don’t know why but I thought I picked that title up from your blog for some reason. Anyway, as it happens I had a good time with it.

[…] discovered Too Old For This thanks to Lynn and I couldn’t resist. It sounds like a fun and thrilling read! Every Day I Read is here […]
Too Old For This was so much fun! I liked that it didn’t take itself too seriously, it was the perfect light and compulsive read for me.
I know, it was totally unexpected. And I must have first noted it on your blog. I got confused and in my head was thinking it was Tammy that had read it! Doh. Strange to say a serial killer story can be good fun but I really enjoyed the humour.
