Once again I am counting down to the New Year, as with the previous two years I shall be highlighting at least one book per day to fit the prompt on that given day. The main aim for this countdown is to highlight some of my reads during the past year and to shine the spotlight on them once again (although some of the prompts relate to forthcoming reads). I do enjoy a good urban fantasy and the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs is definitely keeping me entertained. I enjoyed the mystery of Winter Lost very much.
Tomorrow’s prompt: Eggnog – a book that was out of your comfort zone
Books and travelling with Lynn 
I majorly need to start this series next year. I’ve had my eye on it for ages. I adore the cover of this one too.
I do have a love of long series – and this is no exception, although I also need to catch up with Toby Daye too.
Oh well, only so many hours in the day.

Same here, as long as they manage to avoid feeling too repetitive. I still need to start that one too 😬 good luck catching up. And too true 😅 I guess that’s why my TBR is kind of wild 😂
Perfect choice! I couldn’t find a book for this prompt for some reason.
To be honest I struggled a bit myself. Maybe I’ll have to change this prompt next year!
