Once again I am counting down to the New Year, as with the previous two years I shall be highlighting at least one book per day to fit the prompt on that given day. The main aim for this countdown is to highlight some of my reads during the past year and to shine the spotlight on them once again (although some of the prompts relate to forthcoming reads). I’ve highlighted three books for this – these were all authors that I read for the first time and I loved all three so thought they well deserved a spot in the light. Run, A Little Trickerie and Murder Road.

I’ve read some new to me authors this year too, and I’m hoping to put a whole post together about them. I love Crouch and St. James!

I really enjoy Blake Crouch as well, and I still need to discover Simone St James
I love discovering new authors and their lovely books. These three were all really good. I particularly have to shout out A Little Trickerie, it’s one of those books that I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to request it and now I’m so happy I did.
