I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week. I rather got out of the habit of doing so but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track. So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s Caffeinated Reviewer. Without further ado:
Books read this week:
This week has been very warm and I’ve felt really tired – could be the heat I suppose – but I’ve been incredibly lethargic. In reading I’ve read Hera by Jennifer Saint and Small Town Horror by Ronald Malfi. I’ve also just started Lucy Foley’s Midnight Feast. SPFBO X officially started at the beginning of the month and I’ll be posting a short introductory post shortly.
- Elusive by Genevieve Cogman
- Hell for Hire by Rachel Aaron
- Hera by Jennifer Saint
Outstanding Reviews
- The September House by Carissa Orlando
- Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
- When She Was Good by Michael Robotham
- Lying Beside You by Michael Robotham
- Small Town Horror by Ronald Malfi
I hope you feel better this coming week.

Thanks. I think I’m on the mend. Still a bit tired but getting there little by little.
Lynn 😀
Hope you’re enjoying The Midnight Feast.
Every time I see the cover for Small Town Horror I get more and more curious about it 😀
I’m loving Midnight Feast. I’ve already read almost two thirds because I can’t put it down.
Lynn 😀
I’m reviewing Small Town Horror later this week. I’m curious to compare notes!
Yes, hopefully my review will be out very soon. I look forward to seeing what you made of it too.
Lynn 😀
I really need to read something by Jennifer Saint, so I checked out your review and am so glad to see that you enjoyed it!
It was a very thought provoking story. It perhaps wasn’t my favourite of the retellings she’s written but I enjoyed it.
Lynn 😀
