I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week. I rather got out of the habit of doing so but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track. So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s Caffeinated Reviewer. Without further ado:
Books read this week:
And, another busy week. But, I completed Play of Shadows by Sebastien de Castell, I also finished my last SPFBO finalist, and I started one of my April review books, The Gathering by CJ Tudor.
Next Week’s Reads:
Hopefully complete my backlist book (if I haven’t already done so and complete CJ Tudor. Then I’ll be picking up another review book.

The Gathering will be my next book, I think!
Yeah, I had a couple of other books that I probably should have picked up first but my impatience got the better of me.

I am curious to see what you would think of Barker’s book! I have heard some interesting things!!
The world builing is really impressive and the writing but it didn’t really quite work for me unfortunately. I’ve loved the author’s previous two series but I just couldn’t get into this one.

Oh, so sorry about that! I hope your next read would be amazing!!
The Gathering sounds good. I’ve only read one C. J. Tudor book so far, and I watched the series of The Burning Girls. Enjoyed both of them so will look out for your review :D
I like her writing very much, I’ve only just started but it’s intriguing already.

I really enjoyed The Gathering, although it wasn’t quite what I expected. Have a good week!
Ohh, I look forward to your review.
