Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up

Sunday Post

I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week.  I rather got out of the habit of doing so but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track.  So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Books read this week:

What a crazy and hectic week this has been.  There’s been lots going on and on top of that in the last few days we’ve all fallen prey to the dreaded lurgy.  I think the Grinch has stolen Christmas for us – but, it matters not, we’ll just put a slight delay on things.  Hope everyone else is keeping well?  My listening to Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff (about 7 hours left) has not progressed this week – mainly because I’ve been ill.  I did manage to complete my first SPFBO finalist and I’ve made a great start on Voyage of the Damned by Frances White – what a fantastic story this is so far, I’m absolutely loving it and can’t wait to pick it back up – 30% in so far.  Seriously, loving it.

I’m sorry you’re sick, bad timing I know! I’ll have to check out Voyage of the Damned, I’m not familiar with it. Feel better and Merry Christmas😁

Thank you Tammy – in fact I am much better already – some weird 24 (more like 48 hour) bug. Have a fantastic Xmas.

Oh no, falling sick during Christmas, that sucks! But I’m glad to see in the above comment that you got better, and hope you were able to have an amazing day!

We delayed Christmas Day, we couldn’t face all the rich food on the back of illness but we’ve had a great time regardless.

Sorry to hear you got sick over Christmas, hope you still managed to enjoy the day and that you’re feeling better now 😀

Yep, we’re all better now and we just delayed things by a day so no problem really – although all of us fallling poorly at the same time was a bit horrendous.
