Today is day 15 of my countdown to 2024. Using a series of prompts each day I will post a book title that I believe fits the prompt. The aim is to highlight as many books as possible that I read from 2023 and shine the spotlight on them once again (although for some prompts I will be looking at future reads). Today’s prompt: Mince pies – a little sweet something
The Witchwood Knot by Olivia Atwater is the first in the Victorian Faerie Tales series. It was an absolute delight filled with gothic darkness, ghosts and sneaky fae.

I actually had a hard time with that word, so I went this way:
Yes, I’ve used my very own definition of ‘sweet’ – which probably doesn’t correlate with anybody else’s – possibly because I love gothic and fae and the two together are like music to my ears.
