Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up

Sunday Post

I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week.  I rather got out of the habit of doing so but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track.  So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Books read this week:

Is everyone else finding that time is racing.  I don’t seem to have enough time in the day at all.  Anyway, this week I managed to complete The Hacienda by Isabel Cañas.  I’ve continued listening to Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff (about 13 hours left – yes, this is a long book) and I’ve also read a Haunting in the Arctic by CJ Cooke.  So, I am making good progress with the reads I’m trying to complete.  I’ve now started the Mystery Guest by Nita Prose.

I added Voyage of the Damned to my wishlist after I saw it on your blog last week. It sounds so good so I’m looking forward to your review of that one 😀

I’ve not started it yet but hoping to get to it soon. It seems to be enjoying very good reviews so far.

Yes, time is going way too fast! I’m waiting to read your review of A Haunting In the Arctic before I decide to request it or not.

I’m a bit behind with reviews. Had a few days away so hoping to catch up this week. Personally I thought A Haunting in the Arctic was the best by the author so far. It’s a shocking read tbf, difficult as well, but it really is a proper ghost story and it’s incredibly atmospheric.

Yes, time is racing! Too fast, too fast, I still have so much to do, so many books to read and review. I’ve fallen behind again 😛

Yes, me too – ahh well, it’s the time of year. I always expect to achieve such a lot but then the holiday season takes over and parties start to happen and everything spirals out of control. But, at least I’ve read one of my January books and I’m hoping to fit in maybe one or two more.
