Today is day 2 of my countdown to 2024. Using a series of prompts each day I will post a book title that I believe fits the prompt. The aim is to highlight as many books as possible that I read from 2023 and shine the spotlight on them once again (although for some prompts I will be looking at future reads). Today’s prompt: Shopping – the last book added to your wishlist:
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros – I have been told that this is a ‘must read’ and it seems to have taken the reading community by storm so I’m kind of itching to see whether the hype is deserved. Have you read this??
Books and travelling with Lynn 
I was hesitant to read this due to the main source of the hype (TikTok), but eventually got it from the library and surprisingly I liked it. IMO, it’s more more YA romantasy than straight up SFF (which it’s catalogued as in the library) but it kept my both my attention and interest engaged. The plot wasn’t groundbreaking but still enjoyable to me, the pacing was good, and of course there are dragons!
And – dragons. What more can you ask for.

I don’t read romance fantasy, so I haven’t, but have seen it on many blogs.
