12 March 2018
I started reading The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I’m going to give it another 50 pages and then decide.
Hope it works out for you 😀
Hope you had a wonderful day, Lynn! And ooh Looking Glass. How quickly these release dates sneak up on us! I thought I had a couple more weeks until this comes out, gah!
I know – I was actually managing to claw everything back and now I’ve had such a terrible week I can see myself getting all behind again. Still – can’t wait to start Looking Glass.
Lynn 😀
Hope you have a fabulous Mothers Day! 🙂 I just finished Impostor Syndrome last night, and am maybe half way through Lake Silence. Havent decided what my next print book will be yet
Choosing books – heart against head, cover against deadline – I confess that deadlines usually win the day.
Lynn 😀
One book a week is not so bad… And when it’s one that looks as promising as its cover, well… not so bad at all 😀
Haha – yes, I do tend to read 2 books a week but sometimes I have a quiet week and sometimes don’t.
Lynn 😀
Lynn, my reading has slowed down too. I am currently reading historical fiction Six Tudor Queens: Katherine of Aragon, The True Queen by Alison Weir and the American classic This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Hopefully we can both read more this week. 🙂
I look forward to your review of those – especially the historical fiction.
Lynn 😀
Sorry – I’ve been a tad behind with catching up this week, Lynn. It seems to be that time of year when plans get completely overturned. I hope this week’s reading goes better – I only managed one book last week as well. I look forward to hearing what you make of Planetfall:)
Haha – still haven’t got to Planetfall – the best laid plans. And, yes, I know what you mean, my last week just fell to pieces.
Lynn 😀
Ah well… the lovely thing about books is that they are still there even if your reading schedule slips:). Hope this week is turning out to be a lot easier, Lynn:)x
I’ve read two books this week and made progress on a couple of others.
Lynn 😀
Yes! And one of the books you read was Planetfall! I’m very curious to hear how you got on with that one:)
